Production: The tea compose of young leaves with plentiful of buds and silver furs of tea trees grown in high mountains. They are hand-picked and are carefully processed to retain all its natural ingredients.
Characteristics: Unfermented green tea which produces a greenish-yellow liquid decorated with silver furs when infused with hot water. The tea has a refreshing aroma and a smooth long lasting aftertaste.
Health Benefits: It is rich in polyphenol antioxidants - catechins. Catechins help to protect body cells and tissues against oxidative damages caused by free radicals in the environment. They also aid in lowering low-density lipoprotein and total cholesterol levels in the blood. Regular intake of tea helps to promote overall health and well-being.
a. Hot Tea: Add 2 teaspoonfuls of tea leaves into a pre-warmed cup or teapot. Rinse tea leaves with boiling water and discard the water immediately. Pour in 200-220ml of 70-80°C(160-175°F) water and steep for 2-4 minutes.
b. Ice Tea: Follow the instruction of making hot tea but pour in 70-80ml of 70-80°C (160-175°F) water and steep for 2-4 minutes. Transfer the tea to another cup and put enough ice to make a cup of delicious ice tea. Add honey or syrup if desired.
